About the Author

Ashley Connick is a postgraduate student at the College of Law, London. He graduated from the University of Leeds in 2009 with a degree in European Parliamentary Studies, which included a semester spent at KU Leuven in Belgium. He worked in marketing for a year after graduating in order to pay for his legal studies.

He will be commencing a training contract with an international law firm following the completion of his legal studies in 2012.

When he’s not studying, blogging or tweeting, he can often be found playing or watching cricket, or reading. He recently had his undergraduate dissertation, an examination of the effects of a European Court of Justice ruling on worker migration with a particular focus on county cricket, published; it’s available on Amazon.co.uk.

He also writes for The Lawyer as one of their panel of bloggers.
